Lull Telehandlers
Ever since 1959, Lull has been producing telehandlers. Their machinery have been made for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This particular system offers a lot more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers provide different optional attachments and these telehandlers are available to help you complete all your needs, whilst being efficient and safe at the worksite. If precision and accuracy are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to accomplish everything you need.
The Future
Numerous attachments have been engineered and made in order to make rough terrain forklifts as functional as possible. Booms, winches and rotating fork carriages enable the forklift to position materials in a more precise way. The articulating booms or booms come with 2 different extendible arms and can reach up and over structures so as to place loads on interior roof slope settings or in the center of upper floors. New products and attachments are being developed and designed all the time and will be available in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, several improvements have been made. Like for instance, load-reach management devices can restrict the forklift's reach automatically, based on the load being handled as opposed to depending on the operator. Pressure sensors are used in order to determine the weight of the load. This information is sent to a small electronic memory device that had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
Once the load is being placed into position, the memory will compare the extension of the boom and the boom's angle with the safety limits. There is an important lock-up device or a warning system that prevents the operator from over-reaching and potentially causing the forklift to tip over or the boom to fail.
