Telescopic forklifts
Telescopic lift trucks provide height and versatility. These units are outfitted with a pronged lift on an arm which extends over the top of the truck. The arm, or crane, is known as a telescopic boom. The boom allows the individual using it to maintain a high degree of control while raising the cargo to great heights. Standard forklifts could not move the load towards and away from the forklift cab, whereas a telescopic forklift can allow that movement. The telescopic forklift is normally used in both construction and agriculture. It is recommended for applications where greater control and lift is necessary.
A lift truck carton clamp attachments are recommended in situations requiring high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings which enable the operator to use uniform clamping force when lifting a load. It comes with a backrest which protects the cargo from damage.
A sleep sheet forklift would often use a slip sheet attachment for storing systems that don't use pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forklift forks. This type of system is useful for intra-corporate deliveries and for overseas shipments.
A man basket is a lift platform meant specially to lift staff. The basket attaches to the forks on the forklift, held in with a chain or strap which is to be directly secured to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the workers from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are utilized for fastening the worker's safety harness.
